Help Treat Jiggers
Here in Western Kenya where we live jiggers is a common problem. Jiggers is a small like flea that ones bites gets in under the skin turning to worms. This causes painful sores on the hands and feet mostly but can become severe and spread all over. The most prevalent cause of this is having no shoes and sleeping on the ground in the dirt. Having no access to clean water to bath, we see this commonly. We want to not only treat the jiggers which is often a painful process in itself, but we want to provide new shoes and a bed to help the family stay out of the dirt.Many of the children we are working with have either one or both parents gone. Please consider helping these children. For 30 dollars a month you can sponsor a child and help make a difference in their lives.
HOPE HOUSE
We have been praying since 2018 for land to build our school/homes for the children that we work with. This year 2024 when we landed back in Kenya the Lord opened doors. We had an amazing opportunity that was presented to us. Through prayer we were led to look at a piece of property with a small school building already on it. This was to be used for a school/home for children with special needs. The project never came to be and was left empty for the last 7 years. We quickly picked up the vision and feel the lord wants us to do this. Please consider helping us bring this dream to a reality. The land itself needs some work and cleaning up, the building needs work after being empty for 7 years, ramps need to be installed, we need a new gate and permitter wall, the water well is no good and needs to be replaced. We hope to be able to open Hope House sometime next year. A gift of any amount will help see this come to pass.
Bibles
Currently we are raising money for bibles for 1,500 children we are working with. We have been able to supply a few bibles and audio bibles, but it just isn't enough. They want to know their Heavenly Father that loves them. It broke our hearts when one young boy began to cry because we did not have a bible for him. Please help us in providing the living water to these children.
