About Kenneth Newkirk

Kenneth Newkirk is a missionary from the Unites States. From the time that he became born again in 1998, he was involved in homeless ministry.  He was very drawn to the mission field, but never dreamed of being called to travel abroad.  After 7 years he was struck by a car while standing inside of a convenience store in 2005. This resulted in many injuries and the use of a wheel chair. He spent the next four years recovering and studying the bible more intently than ever before. God began a work in him that has changed his life forever.  

  In 2010 the Lord sent Ken to Israel, by himself to live for three months.  It was a new season with many challenges to travel by himself internationally from a wheelchair and brought many great new experiences. 

  After returning from Israel he spent two years in Arizona and New Mexico on the Navajo Indian Reservation.  Next the Holy Spirit sent him to Kenya for 10 months again by himself. This was more intense than going to Israel and he loved the challenges that faced him.  

  GOSPEL INTERNATIONAL OUTREACH was then formed while living in Kenya. During the trip to East Africa he was involved in teaching in churches and home fellowships and also drilling water wells. He fell in love with the people of Kenya and identified the call to missions on his life. 

  In 2016 he and Jennifer were married while on a scheduled mission’s trip to Ghana (West Africa) for 10 months. She too had a call to missions and had spent time in Ghana in 2015.

Over an eight-year span they spent 50% of their time in Africa as well as in the middle east and Europe.

  After returning to the USA following the onset of Covid, they formed KENNETH NEWKIRK MINISTRIES as a 501(c)(3) tax deductible Public Charity. Their plans for the future are to return to Africa and also travel to south Asia and expand our work by building loving homes for orphaned and at-risk children, providing education, medical care and most of all, a place of worship. Basic architectural drawings have been made and are seeking the necessary donations to begin this work.

  The Lord spoke to both Ken & Jennifer individually and said, “Ask me and I will give you the nations of the earth.” With this mandate they plan to operate in many countries to raise up the next generation as the army of the Lord.
